Entertaining Youtubers You Need To Start Watching Today

If Netflix isn't your go-to whenever you have spare time, then YouTube is probably your next best option. YouTube has been around for over 14 years and every day we see the success this platform is bringing to its content creators. We have YouTubers that are becoming models, talk show hosts and other professions in the greater entertainment industry. With each passing day, YouTube is seen as less of a hobby and more of a full-time job. I have compiled a list of some of my favourite YouTubers and want to show you a few of the channels I'm subscribed to. The people below are hard-working individuals, that never fail to put a smile on my face and show you exactly why YouTube isn't just a hobby.

Disclaimer: this list isn't in any particular order. All subscriber's counts are not to date.

1. David Dobrik - 13M

From giving away Tesla's, destroying his house and playing pranks on his friends, David Dobrik has never failed to entertain his audience. The success of his channel can be seen through the 13.5 million subscribers that await his uploads every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Although, his channel isn't best suited for a younger audience, his mostly teenaged fans adore how light-hearted and kind he is. I personally recommend David Dobrik's Youtube channel because of the generosity he shows towards his friends, fans and even strangers. If you need a good laugh and have 4 mins and 20 seconds to spare, I highly suggest watching David Dobrik's YouTube channel.

2. The Sidemen - 5.6M

If there is one thing these brits know how to do, it's to have a good time. The Sidemen's YouTube channel is filled with game show parody's, extreme challenges and a lot of hide & seek.  This group of men consists of KSI ( 'JJ' Olatunji), Miniminter (Simon Minter), Wroteoshaw (Harry Lewis), Behzinga (Ethan Payne),  TBJZL (Toby Lerone), Vikkstar123 (Vikram Barn) and Zerkaa (Josh Zerker) making them the 'Seven Sidemen'. While each member of the group has their own individual YouTube channels, they do come together every Sunday for a Sidemen video.  I've recently found this channel and have never missed an upload since. Again, if you want to see quality content that'll have you laughing for hours, consider watching The Sidemen

3. Casey Aonso - 143K

Casey Aonso is not afraid to share her opinion and thoughts with the world. That is one of the main reasons why I await her uploads every Sunday at 4 pm. She is essentially an internet analysis. She educates her audience about a certain 'viral' internet topic, then adds her own thoughts and opinions. Casey's most viewed videos include Lights Out is Magcon 2.0 and It's an Absolute Nightmare and The Epidemic of White Girls Rapping in Cars. While she is a more laid back and chill YouTuber, fans love the sarcastic commentary featured in her videos. I subscribed to Casey Aonso because I always find myself relating to her opinions and the humour that goes alongside it. If you want to be a little bit more educated on the big trends happening on the internet and have a good laugh while doing so, then Casey Aonso is the girl for you.

4. Maiphammy - 753K

I stumbled across Mai's YouTube channel when I was on a hunt for Canadian Youtubers. Since then I haven't been able to stop watching her videos. If I had to describe Mai's Youtube channel in three words I would say relatable, humble and simple. Maiphammy's YouTube channel does fit into that quirky, #relatable, YouTuber stereotype, but she does act a certain way that sets her apart from everyone else. She's super engaged with her subscribers, she doesn't flaunt her money and she knows when to get serious about important issues in the world. I literally see myself in her and her dedication to what she does pushes me to do better in my own life. If you're a teenager and you're looking for a YouTuber that you can relate to or someone that understands what you're going through, you need to subscribe to Maiphammy.

5. Daniella Perkins - 535k

Daniella Perkins, a Youtuber and Actress, is loved by many for her quirky personality. Recently, her YouTube channel has been growing fairly quickly and I believe it's because of her engaging lifestyle. Daniella isn't afraid to put herself in embarrassing situations for a good video and always remembers to thank her fans for their support. I subscribed to Daniella Perkins' YouTube channel because I believe she's the same positive, funny and joy-filled person on and off-camera. If you like hilarious lifestyle videos, then Daniella Perkins is the YouTube channel for you.

6. Dolan Twins - 10M

"It's double the giggles and double the grins, and double the trouble if you're blessed with twins. "-annyonmous
Ethan & Grayson Dolan literally embody this quote through their YouTube channel. The Dolan Twins have been creating videos since 2013 and they've earned many awards for their success on the platform.  They've won a total of seven Teen Choice Awards for categories such as Choice Web Star: Male, Choice Comedian and Choice YouTuber. Aside from being one of the most popular twin Youtubers, the Dolan Twins are also well known for their comedic banter and amusing personalities. I like the Dolan Twins because of how humble they are and how considerate they are of those around them. If you like twins, comedy and the colour purple, then the Dolans Twins are the guys for you.

7.  Reaction Time - 13M

Tal Fishman is the creator of the YouTube Channel Reaction Time, where he reacts to crazy things on the internet. Some of his uploads feature his friend Anthony Rivera and other popular YouTubers. His most popular uploads include Viral Asian Makeup Transformation Tutorial, Young Girl Up 13-Year-Old Boyfriend To See If He'll Cheat and Meet The Girl Who Is Allergic to Sunlight. All in all, the time he puts into editing his videos and Tal's funny reactions is why I subscribed to Reaction Time. So, if you're interested in reaction videos, start watching Reaction Time on Youtube.

8. FaZe Rug - 13M

FaZe Rug (Brian Awadis) is a member of the YouTube group FaZe Clan which is an eSports organization. His individual channel [FaZe Rug] features crazy challenges such as Last to Drop iPhone Wins $10 000 and Wearing The Worlds Longest Nails For 24 Hours. I came across his channel a couple months ago and now I instantly click on his videos whenever I get the post notification. I enjoy FaZe Rug's videos because his ideas are unique from what everyone else is doing and even if he is following a YouTube trend, he always knows how to put his own twist to it. He also comes off as a kind and caring person which are qualities every YouTuber should have.  Overall, if you want to see original content from a YouTuber with a great personality, then Faze Rug's YouTube Channel is for you.

9. Kiera Bridget - 3M

Now, we're adding another Brit to the list. Kiera Bridget is a 19-year-old comedic YouTuber. Her channel consists of vlogs and storytelling videos. The video that made me subscribe was I Photoshopped My Tinder Pictures For A Week. I adore her humour, sarcasm and confidence. Kiera isn't afraid to show the world who she really is and I admire her for that. If you want to see just how funny she is, check out her YouTube channel Kiera Bridget.

10. Doctor Mike - 4M

Last but certainly not least, we have Doctor Mike. Doctor Mike's channel breaks down the stereotypes of who can and who can't be a YouTuber. Mikhail Varshavski is a family physician that's taken Youtube by storm. His more popular series include Doctor Reacts to Medical Memes, Doctor reacts to Medical Dramas and his collaboration videos with other YouTubers such as Gabbie Hanna. I find his YouTube channel very educational and necessary in today's society. He's using his platform to educate people about medical problems and does so in a way that is easy to understand. If you want to laugh alongside a family physician and obtain some medical knowledge while doing so, then Doctor Mike is the YouTuber for you.

Conclusion

In conclusion, you can see that there is one common trend in all these YouTubers. They all make me laugh in one way in another, its either I'm laughing with them or laughing at them. I watch YouTube because certain videos can take me from a bad mood to a great mood. I can watch a video from any one of the creators on this list and instantly feel more confident in myself and generally happy. On that note, I hope you found at least one YouTuber from this list that your interested in and would potentially subscribe to.
